Sausage Breakfast Casserole

This breakfast casserole was given to my by Mrs. Karen Downing. She served it with grape jelly. This is made the night before and then you just pop it in the oven. This is a great brunch dish.

  • 2 pkgs. Seasoned Croutons
  • 1 lb. Mild Sausage
  • 1 lb. Hot Sausage (or use 2 lbs of mild sausage)
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 eggs Eggs
  • 2.5 Cups Milk
  • 2 tsp. Dijion Mustard (or you can use dried mustard)
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom
  1. Brown sausages and drain

  2. Mix milk, eggs, mustard and doeup in a blender

  3. Place croutons in a 9×13 pan

  4. Top with cooked sausage

  5. Pour egg mixture over sausage

  6. Top with cheese

  7. Cover ab leave in refridgertor over night

  8. Nake at 350 degrees for 40 mins or until browned

  9. 12 servings – 1 servings = 212 calories, 16g fat, 4 carbs
