INGREDIENTS:
- 1-2 pkgs of seasoned croutons (enough to cover a 9 x 13 pan but I use a bit more than 1 pkg)
- 2 lbs of mild pork sausage
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheese
- 2 1/2 cups of whole milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 tbl of Dijon mustard
- 1 can cream of mushroom
Other suggested fillings: Bacon, ham, veggies (mushrooms, onions, peppers, broccoli (I would blanch or steam)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Brown sausage and drain
- Mix milk, eggs, mustard, and soup in a blender
- Place croutons in the bottom of 9 x 13
- Top with sausage
- Pour egg mixture over the top
- Cover with cheese
- Cover and leave in refrigerator over night
- Bake at 350 degrees for40 minutes
