INGREDIENTS:

  • 1-2 pkgs of seasoned croutons (enough to cover a 9 x 13 pan but I use a bit more than 1 pkg)
  • 2 lbs of mild pork sausage
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheese
  • 2 1/2 cups of whole milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tbl of Dijon mustard
  • 1 can cream of mushroom

Other suggested fillings: Bacon, ham, veggies (mushrooms, onions, peppers, broccoli (I would blanch or steam)

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Brown sausage and drain
  • Mix milk, eggs, mustard, and soup in a blender
  • Place croutons in the bottom of 9 x 13
  • Top with sausage
  • Pour egg mixture over the top
  • Cover with cheese
  • Cover and leave in refrigerator over night
  • Bake at 350 degrees for40 minutes
